What is EFI?
Events & Festival Institute (EFI) is a Not-For-Profit, harnessing the global expertise of experts & scholars, for the benefit of all.
EFI is the world’s first educational, research and intelligence, and professional development institute for everyone with an interest in events and festivals.
EFI is truly international and inclusive space for all those working in, impacted by, analysing or studying the events and festival industry, across all types, sizes, sectors, subjects, stakeholders, communities, organisations, roles, audiences and geographies.
EFI is the official institute of the Event Management Journal (EMJ) - the leading international peer reviewed academic journal for the study and analysis of events, and the oldest, founded in 1993 and based in New York, USA.

via various educational, developmental, professional, research and intelligence resources, from courses, articles, to podcasts.
Champion the power and potential of events and festivals
For social and economic good, and provide evidence based research and intelligence to make the case and inform decision making.
Inspire young people and the next generation
To pursue an education and career in evens and festivals at all levels, particularly 16+ (school leavers), 18+ (college leavers), and 21+ (university graduates).
Professionalise the events and festivals industry
Helping to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of how events and festivals and run, to save lives, improve lives, and transform livelihoods.
